The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marie Kempske can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: To the Kempske family and especially to Rosemary:
I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your Mom. I remember her and all the wonderful times we had with Scouts...at your home and on the road. She was so energetic, funny, welcoming and just plain nice.
I will never forget how she opened up her home and hosted the students from Brazil. What an experience that was! I only regret not keeping in contact in more recent years. John and I send our condolences and wish that we could have been at her memorial service but we were not in town.
