On July 18, 2015, Eleanor L. Porter (nee Spamer) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles “Bud” William Porter, Jr.; devoted mother of Karl R. Schmidt and Robert E. Schmidt, Jr. and his wife Elaine; loving grandmother of Shawn Schmidt, Kelly Hermann, Amy Curran, Karl Schmidt, Jr. and David Schmidt; also survived by seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visiting at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., 11750 Belair Road (Kingsville) on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at 11 am. Interment Rocky Rest Cemetery (Perry Hall). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rocky Rest Cemetery, C/O Linda Dewey, 1402 Baldwin Mill Road, Jarrettsville, MD 21084.
