Obituary for Ludwig B. Zeman, Jr.

Ludwig B. Zeman passed away quietly in the early morning hours of September 24, 2015 after a short illness.

Mr. Zeman proudly served as an engineer/mechanic on the USS Pledge during WWII. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Harriette Zeman, his parents, Ludwig B. (Sr.) and Anna Zeman and by his brother, John L. Zeman (Sr.)

Mr. Zeman is survived by his daughter Lynn Cage, her husband Daniel Cage, his son Craig P. Zeman (Sr.), his wife Teresa Zeman and his daughter Robin Bierman and her husband, Millard A. Bierman (Jr.). He leaves behind nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and an extended family of many nieces and nephews, by whom he will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., 11750 Belair Road (Kingsville) on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at 10 am. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. Donations in his honor can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
