Isabel "Marie" Myers (nee Green) passed away peacefully on November 23rd 2016 at the Glen Meadows Retirement Community at the age of 94.
Marie was survived by her loving husband Arthur "Bud" Myers, her daughters Judi Stone, Lois McFaul and husband Richard, her son Arthur Myers III and Ridge Cotton, grandchildren Joseph Stone, Rick McFaul and wife Megan, and Laurie McFaul, and great grandson Finn McFaul. She is also survived by brother in law Roland Fisher, sister in law Lois Myers, and a wealth of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Harry "Buddy" Green and his wife Beverly Green, and sisters Elizabeth "Betty" Mitchell and Marjorie Fisher.
Marie was born in Parkville and resided in Hamilton, Ramblewood, Tilghman Island and the Glen Meadows Retirement Community. Marie and her husband Bud enjoyed many long summers at their second home in Montego Bay in Ocean City, MD. She was a long time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Marie loved seafood, reading, playing cards, and her Sunday drives. She was an extraordinary homemaker, a special wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Marie's family wishes to thank the The Glen Meadows Retirement Community and Gilchrist Hospice Care for their compassionate care over this past week after Marie suffered from a stroke.
