On January 13, 2017 Christian G. Hayes beloved husband of Ella L. (nee Short) Hayes; dear son of the late Stella Lake, raised by loving parents the late George T. and Mary (nee Doukas) Hayes; devoted father of George Hayes and his wife Michelle, Connie Wotell and her husband Jack, Melissa Wright and her husband Rick and Bill Hayes and his fiancé Jill; loving grandfather of 11 grandhildren, Christina Wilhelm and her husband John, Joel Wotell and his wife Jaimie, Rachel Hayes, Nathan Wotell and his wife Andrea, Lauren Gerber and her husband Teddy, Christian Hayes, Monica Wotell, Cody Hayes, Alex Morrison, Ella Marie Morrison and Evelyn Morrison and 4 great grandchildren, Jack Wotell, Hunter Wilhelm, Elle Wotell and Wyatt Wilhelm; dear brother of Valerie Lake and Craig Lake.
The family will receive friends at Mountain Christian Church in the Cook Auditorium on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 9am until 11am, at which time funeral services will begin. A luncheon will follow the funeral services. Interment will be private.
