On March 23, 2017 Reba Elaine (nee Lassahn) Hammond, beloved wife of 51 years of Ronald D. Hammond; devoted mother of Cindy Bell; loving grandmother of Nichole Smith; devoted daughter of the late John E. and A. Marguerite (nee Amrein) Lassahn; dear sister of the late Harold “Buzz” Lassahn; cherished aunt of Clifford Lassahn and the late John Lassahn. Reba was the owner of Fullerton Supply Co., a board member of Rosedale Federal Savings and Loan Association, a former board member of Concordia Preparatory School (Baltimore Lutheran School) and the Lamplighter’s Guild of Baltimore Lutheran School; a member of the Three Arts of Homeland; an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Blenheim. She was also a needlepoint enthusiast entering many of her work in the Timonium Fair each year and placing multiple awards with each of her pieces.
The family will receive friends at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc. 7401 Belair Road in Overlea on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Further visiting will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Blenheim on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 10:30am until 11:00am, at which time funeral services will begin. Interment Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery.
