Obituary for Helen May Bresnick (Leppo)
Helen Bresnick (nee Leppo) passed away peacefully on August 3, 2021 at the age of 93. Helen was raised in Manchester, Maryland and was a longtime resident of Overlea, Maryland and Boynton Beach, Florida. She is survived by her children Gil Bresnick, Jr. (Wanda Velazquez) and Lorri Schonfeld (Joe); grandchildren Torie Wright (Travis), Darian Bresnick, Adena Schonfeld, Autumn Bresnick (Jake Aaron); great grandchild Maverick Aaron; and many nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her mother Evelyn Leppo Masimore; siblings Jack Masimore, Richard Masimore, James Masimore, Bertie Simpers; husband Gil Bresnick, Sr.; and partner John Sinnott.
Visiting at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road (Overlea) on Sunday, August 8, 2021, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm (The family requests that all attendees please wear a face covering). Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 10 am. Interment immediately following at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery on Golden Ring Road. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
