Helen L. Cantler: Born April 1, 1946 Helen was the daughter of Martha Yvonne Updike and John Raymond Orem. Deceased June 10, 2021, Helen Louise Cantler (nee Orem) was loving wife of the late William M. Cantler. Mother of Barbara Romagnano and her husband Dennis, Martha Sanzaone and her husband Stephen, and step-daughter Jane Baldwin and her husband David. Grandmother of Brandon, Lauren and Brianna Romagnano, Jacob and Will Sanzone, Allison McFadden and her husband Erich, Melanie Richardson and Theodore Baldwin. Great-grandmother of Gabe Salorzano, Abbey Richardson, McKenzie Cole and Lacie Faktor. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. She is predeceased by her parents. Brothers Raymond Ivan Orem and Ernest Clifford Orem, and her sister Gloria Orem.
She is retired from Upper Chesapeake Medical Center where she worked as HR Coordinator. She was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.
The family will receive friends at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A. 11750 Belair Road in Kingsville, on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 18,2021 at 10 AM. Interment Harford Memorial Gardens.
