On September 13, 2021, John H. Volz, beloved husband of Amelia J., (nee Burlock) Volz; devoted father of Milford L.. Berends and the late Ronald M. Berends, Jr.; loving grandfather of Ronald J. Berends, Megan M. Wenger, Cory L. Berends and Victoria J. Berends; he is also survived by numerous loving great-grandchildren: dear brother of Shirley, Fred and Lois Volz and several nieces and nephews;

Funeral services will be held at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc. 7401 Belair Road in Overlea on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Interment Zion UCC Cemetery.
