Obituary for Kenneth Evans Turner

On May 30, 2019, Kenneth Evans Turner passed. He was born in Baltimore, MD., and was the son of the late Dorothy (nee Milke) Turner and Evans Turner. He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Brindisi, Italy where he met his beloved wife of 55 years, Anna. They raised a family and shared a beautiful life together. Ken worked in the insurance and auto industries, and enjoyed volunteering at his local American Legion and VFW. He also served as Commander of VFW Post 5838 (Joppa). Ken was a good and kind gentleman, who was loved and respected by his family and his friends. Ken is survived by his wife Anna Maria (nee Guarini) Turner; devoted father of Paula Kujawa and her husband Jim, Ranae Fisher and her husband Tom, Patty Fabiszak and her husband Mike; cherished grandfather of Brandon Kujawa and his wife Sierra, Bradley Kujawa and his wife Riane, Rebecca Fisher, Jessica Fisher, Sarah Fisher, Lauren Fabiszak, and Matthew Fabiszak; dear great grandfather of Gianna Kujawa.
The family will receive friends at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc. 7401 Belair Road in Overlea on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 2-6pm. A Memorial Service will follow promptly at 6pm. Interment Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 10:00am. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org
