On January 4, 2020, Margaret E., (nee Pontier) Slitzer, beloved wife of the late Stephen W. Slitzer; devoted mother of Stephanie Duchacek and husband Frank; loving grandmother of Denise Lapp and husband Steven; dear great-grandmother of Ashley Metzbower and fiancé Joshua Dietz and Stephen Metzbower.

Visiting at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., 11750 Belair Road in Kingsville on Wednesday, Januray 8, 2020 from 2-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Kingsville on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church, 11901 Belair Road, Kingsville, MD, 21087.

To the family, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that soon God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. A wonderful neighbor, friend, grandmother and great grandmother, may Marnie rest in peace. What a beautiful soul! It was a blessing knowing you.
