I was so shocked to hear this sad news. Mike and I were friends in high school and for years after that. We did a lot of fun things together, like the time we snuck out of shop class and went under the school foundation and put about 5 small bottles of apple blossom (skunk perfume) into the air conditioning system that cooled about 3 or 4 rooms which had no windows. The rooms had to be evacuated du to the smell. Or the time we took a milk carton full of live catapillers ( gathered from the woods at lunch time) in Mr. Phillips math room and hide them under his desk. In a matter of minutes the room had those fuzzy little critters crawling everywhere. We never did anything to harm anyone, just stupid fun.
We continued to do some pretty dumb stuff after high school but you need to ask Kathy about that because she may not want the grandchildren to hear some those stories.
Anyway, I was fortunate enough to see Mike , my old friend, last year at our high school reunion. I am so sorry that I didn't get to spend more time with him then. I was hoping to reunite with Mike and Kathy in the in the near future, looks like I waited to long.
My sincere condolences to the Zukowski family. Mike was a great person. Bill Bell

Our hearts are so sad. Mike was our friend. He had a heart of gold and always made us laugh when we were with him. (I felt like he was my buddy!) He loved to be "on the go" and stay busy. Words can not express how much he will be missed. Love, prayers and hugs always!

I am so sorry to hear this. Mike was just a good guy. Big hearted and funny. I have fond memories of him fixing things around my house but mostly the softball games at the reunions. He will be missed.
Kathy, Renee and Kelly you are in my prayers.

We are so sorry about Mike's passing. I had known him for over 40 years and Rick for 28 years. He was at h a good neighbor and friend. We will miss him terribly. He would come over and talk to us about going hunting and fishing. He always made us laugh. He would bring us peanuts and corn to feed the squirrels. Prayers to his family and friends. We are always here if anyone needs us. RIP Mike.
