Agnes E. Froberg (Kemmerer)

On May 29, 2025, Agnes E. Froberg (née Kemmerer) passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and faith.

She was the beloved wife of the late James A. Froberg and the devoted mother of Brenda L. Froberg and Kurt B. Froberg and his wife Stephanie and her bonus daughter, Lisa Howard. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Sara and Colin Froberg.

Agnes was the treasured daughter of the late Grover C. and Nellie M. (née Armstrong) Kemmerer. She was predeceased by her siblings, Robert Kemmerer, Monte Kemmerer, and Phyllis Dush, as well as her lifelong best friend, Elsie Ogden. She is lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Gloria Kemmerer and many devoted cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A dedicated registered nurse for over 40 years, Agnes touched countless lives with her gentle care and compassion. She had a zest for life, enjoying travel, reading (especially Amish fiction), and playing games like Yahtzee and Train Dominoes. She loved country and western music, and never turned down a sweet treat—black raspberry ice cream being her favorite. A pina colada with friends was a special indulgence she enjoyed when dining out.

Agnes had a deep interest in the lives of the British Royals, was a woman of strong faith, and took comfort in attending church services and events in her senior living community. Fittingly, she departed this life on Ascension Day—embracing her Savior with peace in her heart.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church (www.st-peterslutheran.com) or Forest Hill Heights Assisted Living Community (www.foresthillheights.com), in care of Jennifer.

The Froberg family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, and support shown to them during this time. Agnes will be remembered always for her warmth, her joyful spirit, and the kindness she so freely gave.
