It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alfred George Webster, who died peacefully at the age of 94 on November 7, 2024. Alfred was born on March 7, 1930, to the late Alfred Garfield Webster and Lelia Webster. He passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Alfred was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Dorothy Webster, with whom he shared many wonderful years of marriage. Together, they were blessed with four children: Patricia Hoopes, Alfred G. Webster, Jr., John Carl Webster and Ann Marie Bryant. Alfred’s greatest joy was his family, and he cherished every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, offering guidance, support, and unconditional love.
Alfred’s grandchildren, whom he adored, include Nicholas Webster, Sara Webster, John C. Webster, Jr., Kathleen Bestone, Mark Hoopes, Kimberly Hoopes, Jordan Richthammer, Abigail Bryant, Grace Bryant, and Danielle Bryant. His great-grandchildren, Logan Wester, Wade Webster, Clementine Jade Hoopes, and Ezra Sol Hoopes, were a source of immense pride for him.
Alfred was dedicated to his career at General Motors. His legacy is one of love, hard work, and a deep commitment to those he cared for. He built a life rooted in integrity and kindness, leaving a positive impact on everyone he met. Whether spending time with family, or sharing his wisdom with friends, Alfred’s warmth and gentle spirit were evident to all who knew him.
Although Alfred is no longer with us, his memory will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be dearly missed, but his life will be celebrated with the love he gave.
