Alma Jane Ward (Matthews)

Alma Jane Matthews Ward, passed peacefully on March 26, 2019. She was 95 years old. She was born December 26, 1923. Jane was the daughter of the late Ruth and Bardy Matthews, formerly from Crisfield, MD. She was the loving wife of the late James Welton Ward. She is survived by her daughters, Jerry W. Lachapelle and her husband, Dave, and Debra Ann Gregory and her husband, Chris. She is predeceased by her son, James M. Ward; loving grandmother of Jill Dickmyer and her husband Phil, Craig Lachapelle, Jayme Lachapelle, Bryan Mosser and his wife Michelle, Heather Kessler and her husband Michael and Eric Gregory and his wife Rachel; great-grandmother of Hannah, Lydia, Lily, Ava, Nicholas and Aaron.

Visiting at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., 11750 Belair Road (Kingsville) on Friday, March 29, 2019, from 2-6 pm. A memorial service will be held at Kenwood Presbyterian Church, 4601 Fullerton Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21236, on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11 am.
