On June 8, 2013 WW II Veteran, Staff Sgt. Anthony J. Gullace, 379th Bomb Group Army Air Corp., B17 Flight Engineer & Gunner, 2 year POW Stalag17B-liberated in May of 1945, Purple Heart Recipient, beloved husband for 67 years of the late Catherine G. (nee Giarrizzo) Gullace; devoted father of Robert Gullace and his wife Patricia and the late Sharon Jackson and her husband Mike; loving grandfather of Lorie Thompson and her husband Michael, Scott Jackson and his wife Leila, Julie Fioravante and her husband Jim, James Wright and Bob Gullace, Jr. and his wife Julie; loving great grandfather of Luciano, Gabriella and Nicolo Fioravante, Giselle and Jagger Wright, Wendy Gullace, Lilliana and Isabella Jackson, Abigayle and Elise Thompson ; brother of Salvatore Gullace; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting at the Oak Crest Village Chapel on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 10:00am until 11:00am at which time funeral services will begin. Interment St. John’s Church Cemetery, Hydes, MD. If desired memorial contributions may be made to Oak Crest Village Benevolent Care Fund.
