Anthony "Tony" George Nagy

Obituary for Anthony George Nagy (July 24, 1950- August 19, 2025)

Tony grew up in Baltimore, the only son of George and Maria Nagy. He attended Saint Joseph’s Monastery High School and graduated in 1968. He remained a lifelong resident of the area. After a successful career in government services, he retired to northern Baltimore County.

Tony, an avid reader, enjoyed discussing mysteries with his sister Elizabeth. He also enjoyed spending time with his cats and was devoted to their care. Starting at a young age, he was a die hard fan of the Orioles and Ravens, steadfast in his support. With his quick wit, he always had a wry comment about the current season.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine L. Nagy. He is survived by his two sisters, Elizabeth Cassedy and Ellen Lucy Nagy; and by several nephews and nieces. The family will hold a private funeral service to honor and celebrate his life.

Tony will be forever in our hearts and always in our memories.
