August Fred Laesch

August F. Laesch of Abingdon, Maryland

Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan, August went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 13, 2026. He was born on November 22, 1933 in Saginaw to Herman C. And Hildegard Boesenecker Laesch.

He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Saginaw where he served as Associate Organist for 40 years. He was a member of the American Guild of Organists, as well as a member of The Royal College of Organists. He served on the board of the Saginaw Community Concerts Association. Prior to his retirement, August was employed by the Second National Bank of Saginaw for 35 years as branch manager. He also served as office manager at Holy Cross Lutheran School for many years.

August is survived by his sister, Ruth E. Deinlein. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as many great-nieces and nephews and their children. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother and sister-in-law Herman Paul and Carol Laesch, and his brother-in-law, Frank Deinlein.
