BERNADETTE “BERNIE” WOLF
“Praise God from whom all blessings flow....” Heaven is bigger and brighter now that Bernadette Wolf, 76, of Fallston, MD has passed on. Bernie was much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who peacefully departed on June 28, 2026 at Hart Heritage Assisted Living in Street, MD. She humbly and gracefully dealt with dementia over the past 15 years. She was born on August 1, 1949, in Baltimore, MD.
For 43 years she shared her life with her “Princey Baby,” Edwin Wolf, Jr (deceased). Together they built a family including their daughter and son: Jessica Rhoten and her husband Craig Rhoten and Mark Wolf and his wife Amber Wolf. She loved being “Mimi” to her grandchildren, Jeffrey and Paige Rhoten, Cynan and Gavin Wolf and Lily Igo. Bernadette is predeceased by her parents Jovita (Kauffman) and Bernard Myers, sister Catherine Myers, and brothers Jerry and Charlie Myers.
From being an “Utz girl” in her early years to later in life working for Baltimore County Public Schools’ Human Resources Department, Bernadette took pride in whatever work she did. She loved people; quickly making friends with everyone she encountered.
She was a devout Catholic and enjoyed being part of the St. John’s the Evangelist Church in Hydes. Bernie especially loved serving donuts at SJE’s “Cafe” each Sunday.
To honor memory and celebrate her life, family and friends will gather for a public viewing at Lassahn Funeral Home 11750 Belair Road, Kingsville, MD on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. The following day, Thursday, July 2, 2026, a funeral Mass will be held at St. John’s the Evangelist at13305 Long Green Pike at 10:30 a.m., with a graveside service to follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Rosedale, MD.
The family is deeply grateful for the loving care provided by the staff at Hart Heritage Assisted Living. In lieu of flowers, contributions toward a family-collected gift for the caregivers would be sincerely appreciated.
