On September 18, 2025, Bertha S. Smith (nee Darnall) passed away; beloved wife of the late Kenneth E. Smith, Sr.; devoted mother of Naomi R. Markel and Kenneth E. Smith, Jr. and his wife Jeanette; loving grandmother of Stacey Torres and her husband Oscar, Wayne Smith, Lisa Pilone and her husband Andrew and the late Kimberly Blunt; also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
