Constance Bernnette Hale passed away on April 24, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and hard work that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Constance was the beloved wife of Leroy Hale, with whom she shared more than 56 years of marriage. Together, they built not only a life filled with devotion and partnership, but also a family businesses that reflected their shared values and tireless work ethic. Constance and Leroy proudly owned and operated Hale’s Seafood Inc. for many years, becoming a well-known and respected part of their community. In addition, she owned and operated Lehacon Kennel, where she devoted much of her time to raising Pekinese and Labrador dogs, a passion that brought her great joy.
She was the loving daughter of the late Arthur Stewart and the late Janice Dillard. Constance was a devoted sister to Sheila Cenidoza and her husband Jimmy, and a cherished aunt to her nephews, Dan Cenidoza and David Cenidoza. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Carol Hale; her brothers-in-law, Leonard Hale and Stephen Hale and his wife Debra; along with many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her presence.
Constance will be remembered for her kindness, her strong spirit, and the deep love she had for her family, her work, and the animals she cared for throughout her life.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Constance’s life at Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road, where a visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28th from 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 29th at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
