Daniel Michael Goemmer

On August 26, 2022, Daniel Goemmer, 35, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at

his home in White Marsh, MD. Dan is the beloved son of Barbara Schmidt and Craig

Goemmer, loving brother of Jessica Goemmer, stepson of Sanford Schmidt, stepbrother

to Gavin, Dan and Kristin and grandson of the late Mary Lou and George Goemmer. He

is the cherished nephew of Michael Schultz and Brian Davidson, Lou Ann and Don

Dent, Stuart and Susan Goemmer, and the late Peggy Schultz, and the late David

Schultz. He is further survived by cousins Katie, Kevin, Jen, Matt, Jonathan, Evan,

Saliese and David and bonus cousins Andrew and JoyAnn and so many beloved

friends. Dan was a graduate of the University of Baltimore and a valued contracts

manager for a large international company.

Dan was a sensitive, caring dreamer who embraced a life of discovery and adventure

coupled with a strong love of family. Dan’s love for the outdoors and nature inspired his

passion for travel and gardening. His gentle spirit and good humor will be missed by all

who knew and loved him.

There will be visitation on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the Lassahn Funeral Home, 11750

Belair Road, Kingsville, MD 21087 from 2-5pm and 7 to 9 pm. A service will be held Friday to

celebrate Dan’s life. We encourage all who knew and loved Dan to join the family at 10a.m on

Friday, at the Lassahn Funeral Home.
