On October 14, 2022 Daniel N. Porter, beloved husband for 69 years to Shirley M. (nee Schuman) Porter; devoted father of Brian Porter, Geralynn Edwards and her husband Shawn and Cynthia Porter; loving grandfather of Nicole Evans and her husband Patrick, Matthew Edwards, Ashley Edwards, Hannah Riegler and Sophia Riegler; dear brother of Rosalie Schott and her late husband Leo, Gary Porter and his late wife Evelyn and the late Marjorie Stewart and her late husband Vance; he is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 10:00am. The family will receive friends at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc. 7401 Belair Road in Overlea on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 2-5 & 7-9pm. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
