Doris Ann Funk (Kuhn)

On December 27, 2020, Doris Ann (nee Kuhn) Funk, beloved wife for 54 years to the late Charles C. Funk Jr., devoted mother of Charles C. Funk III and his wife Linda, Cynthia C. Alvarez and Kevin M. Funk; dear grandmother of Justin Funk and his wife Melanee, and Sean Funk and his wife Melissa; loving great-grandmother of Eliza, Brittany, Brianna, Lexi and Zoey; cherished great-great- grandmother of Audrey; sister of the late George T. Kuhn, Audrey M. Miller and Evelyn E. Flottemesch; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. Doris was a lifelong member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Bradshaw, she worked in the St Stephen’s School Library for 20 years, was a member of the Ladies of Charity, the Altar Society and the Resurrection Choir. She was also a volunteer at the Franklin Square Hospital since 1984 and had over 16,000 service hours.

The family will receive friends at the St. Stephen’s Church 8030 Bradshaw Road Kingsville, MD. 21087 on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 10:30am until 11:00am, at which time a memorial mass will begin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Stephen’s Ladies of Charity www.ssparish.org or Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company www.kvfc.com
