Edna L. Harrold (Rice)

On December 31, 2014, Edna Louise (nee Rice), beloved wife of the late Clyde H. Harrold, devoted mother of Eileen H. King, Donna L. Harrold, Larry R. Harrold and wife Evelyn, loving grandmother of Stephen D. King, Michael H. King and wife Marybeth, Mark P. King and wife Denise, Larry R. Harrold, Jr., and wife Katherine, Karen McSharry and husband Brian, Michele Kuchera and the late Dana L. Cassett, also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Edna was born in Connellsville, PA. and moved with her husband and family to Baltimore in 1939. They bought a new home in Baltimore County in 1941 where she had resided to this day. She enjoyed crochet and making quilts, caring for her pets and flowers and was an avid Ravens and Orioles fan. She lived through at least 7 wars, saw the nation from horse and buggy days to men orbiting the earth in space. She loved politics and never missed voting even in these last few years. She was a beautiful, kind woman who loved her family and friends. She will be forever missed.

Funeral services will be held at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road (Overlea), on Monday, January 5, 2015, at 10:00 am. Visiting on Sunday, January 4, 2015, from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
