On September 2, 2025, Elaine B. Maxa (nee Engle) passed away: beloved wife of 25 years, to the late Edward Maxa; devoted mother of Gary Maxa and his wife Julie, and Nancy Kneisler and her husband Chris; loving grandmother of Grant, Justin, Brandon and Steven.

Visiting at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road (Overlea) on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 10 am- 12 noon. A graveside service will be held at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
