Elizabeth "Betty" M. Gierhart (Mershon)

On July, 13, 2025, Elizabeth “Betty” M. Gierhart (nee Mershon) passed away; beloved wife of the late Robert F. Gierhart, Jr.; devoted mother of Michael Dale Gierhart and his wife Jenny, Susan Bocek and her husband David and the late Robert F. Gierhart III and his wife Carol; loving grandmother of Meghan, Ashley, Michael, Sarah, Daniel, Brandon and the late Brennan; also survived by six great-grandchildren; sister of Barbara J. Reed, Patricia A. Tucker and the late Robert D. Merchon Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at Loch Raven Presbyterian Church on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Loch Raven Presbyterian Church, 9318 Old Harford Road, Parkville, MD 21234.
