Elizabeth Harriett Cornett

Elizabeth Harriett (nee Fannon) Cornett peacefully passed away on April 11, 2026.

Elizabeth was the beloved wife of the late Howard J. Meade and the late Claude Cornett; a devoted and loving mother of Constance “Connie” Reed and her husband Albert “Al,” and Beverly “Bev” Townsley and her partner Anthony “Tony” Tanner. She was a cherished and proud grandmother of Jennifer Myers and her spouse Justin, Steven Reed, Corinne Keppeler and her spouse Mike, Philip Reed, Kyle Townsley and his spouse Randi, and Nicole Beiswenger and her spouse Ben. Elizabeth was also a dear great-grandmother of eleven great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

Elizabeth was a warm and kind-hearted woman who formed many meaningful friendships throughout her life. Over the past twenty years, she found a true sense of community at Oak Crest Retirement Community, where she shared laughter, companionship, and countless memories with dear friends who became like family to her.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of family, and the joy she found in the simple moments spent with those she loved. Elizabeth will be deeply missed by her family, her friends, and all who were blessed to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Interment is private.
