Reals; beloved Pop-pop to 4 granddaughters, Amy Black and her husband Shannon, Sarah Thacker and her husband Phil, Heather Rezek and her husband Paul, and Carlyn Thomas; great Pop-pop to Hayden Rezek and Maxwell Black; brother to Bernard Diepold and his wife Gladys and Andrew Diepold and his wife Betty; uncle to a host of nieces and nephews; faithful brother to Knights of Columbus Council # 2521 Cardinal Gibbons; Charter Member of VFW Post 6505; Retiree of BG&E.

The family will receive friends at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc. 7401 Belair Road (Overlea) on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 2-5 & 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Church on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 10:30 AM. A Christain Wake Service will be held on Friday, May 17,2 013 at 3:30 PM. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Fund or St. Michael the Archangel Church.
