Just 45 hours after coming into this world, Emery Elizabeth Greiser passed away peacefully at University of Maryland St. Joseph’s Hospital in Towson, MD. Emery gave her parents and family a lifetime of love during her short time on this earth.

Born at almost 42 weeks, weighing a healthy 9lbs, 3oz with a head full of dark brown hair, she was full of personality and taught her parents so much. She loved to be held and swaddled, and if she wasn’t, she would let out a scream that sounded just like a tetradactyl. From the moment Emery was born she was very alert and by her second day of life she was able to hold up her head.

Emery was the daughter of Ronald E. Greiser III (Trey) and Patricia Greiser (Goedeke).

She is survived by her paternal grandparents, The Very Reverend Ronald and Sanna Greiser of Myrtle Beach, SC; maternal grandparents, Eric and Kathryn Goedeke of Phoenix, MD; aunts and uncles, Chase Greiser of Raleigh, NC; Sarah and Brendan Beale of Kingsville, MD; and Leigh Goedeke and Lazar Bojic of New Haven, CT. She is also survived by her cousins; as well as great aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

Funeral service and gravesite burial will remain private. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the nurses and doctors at University of Maryland St. Joseph Hospital, especially Dr. Michael Langbaum, MD for his tremendous kindness, effort and dedication.
