Emma M. Hahn (Mast)

On July 11, 2021 Emma M. (nee Mast) Hahn passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert F. Hahn. She is survived by a host of loving cousins and friends.

Emma was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church for 48 years, while at St. Michael Lutheran Church she was president of St. Michael Church Women, Altar Schedule Coordinator, Usher, Lay Reader and Bible study leader. In Delaware and Maryland she was the editor of “The Evangel” newsletter for the Synodical Women’s Organization for their 15 years of existence. She served as Past President and Communicator Coordinator, participating in community events and disaster responses for Lutheran Brotherhood Gunpowder Branch # 8001; Auxiliary President and a Board Member for the Resident Care and Concern Committee for Augsburg Lutheran Home; organized and served as group leader for 20 bus trips a year to benefit St. Michael’s Women Projects, Lutheran Brotherhood Fraternal events, and the Augsburg Lutheran Home Auxiliary Projects; served the community working with the Delaware Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed square dancing for entertainment and exercise purposes and would dance five times a week in Baltimore and Harford counties, sometimes Carroll and Anne Arundel counties. Emma was the President of home club-Dublin Dancers in Hickory, MD. And the Ambassador Service Coordinator for the Mason Dixon Square Dance Federation to promote visitation and friendship among the clubs.

The family will receive friends at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A. 11750 Belair Road in Kingsville on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Further visitation will be held at St. Michael Lutheran Church on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 10am-10:30am, at which time funeral services will begin.
