On July 17, 2014, Ernest Edwin Ellis, Sr., beloved husband of Mary A. Ellis (nee Wirsing), for 58 years; loving father of seven sons: Ernie and Michele, Steve and Jean, Jim and Gerri, Tom and Julia, Bill and Margie, John and Karen, and Bob and Angelie. He is survived by 17 grandchildren: Mary Beth (Jake), Daniel( Susanna), Jennifer, Laura( Kenny),Steve Jr,. Kevin, James Jr. , Nicole, Joshua, Megan, Christina, Christopher, Maria, Jonathan, Nathan, Katelyn and Zachary; and 1 great grandchild Carly.
Visitation at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., 11750 Belair Road (Kingsville) on Sunday, July 20, 2014, 3-5 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church (Fullerton) on Monday, July 21, 2014, at 9:30am. Interment St. Joseph’s Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions offered to American Cancer Society or Maryland School for the Blind.
