Esther Balles

Esther Balles passed peacefully on January 21, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Joseph Balles. Esther is lovingly remembered by her son, Philip A. Balles, and his wife, Deborah W. Balles; her grandchildren, Christopher Balles, Michael Balles, and Sarah Balles; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Lyla Balles and Lucas Ariza.

Visitation will be held at Lassahn Funeral Home, Overlea, located at 7401 Belair Road, Nottingham, Maryland 21236, on Thursday, January 29, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 4301 Raspe Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21206, on Friday January 30 at 12pm. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
