Ethel Margaret Gotti (Holtzman)

Ethel Margaret (nee Holtzman) Gotti, 91, peacefully passed away on July 13, 2024. Ethel was the cherished wife of the late Joseph Gabriel Gotti and a devoted mother to Theresa (Teri) Margaret Gotti Szubinski, along with her husband Edward, and Jill Marie Wettig, along with her husband Michael.

Predeceased by her parents, George Joseph Holtzman, Sr. and Margaret Catherine (nee Hubbard) Holtzman, and her brother, George Joseph Holtzman, Jr. Ethel leaves behind her loving nieces and nephews, along with all who knew her, and will forever cherish her memory and her legacy of love and compassion.

Ethel graduated from Eastern High School and proceeded to work at the Baltimore Gas & Electric Company for several years before meeting Joe. She then dedicated her life to being a wonderful wife and mother for her family. Ethel was an excellent Scrabble player, and enjoyed her crossword puzzles, game shows and romance novels. She adored pink roses, ice cream, cardinals, bunnies, bisque baby figurines, Kris Kristofferson, country music, tea sets, cruises, and shopping with her “two girls”. Ethel did everything with her own grace and style.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., located at 11750 Belair Road in Kingsville, on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 pm. Ethel will be lovingly laid to rest at Parkwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gilchrist Hospice (www.gilchristcares.org) , honoring the care and support they provide to those in need.
