Freda Margaret Chilcoat (Ross)

Freda Margaret Chilcoat (nee Ross) was surrounded by the warmth and love of her family when she passed on September 5, 2023. Freda was the cherished spouse of the late Carlton Chilcoat and a deeply loving mother to Jill Richardson and her husband Don, Jackie Richardson and her husband Marty, Sr., Carvel Chilcoat and his wife Denise and Judy Phillips.

As a doting grandmother, she is remembered by Marty Richardson, Jr. and his wife Stephanie, Mandy Nelson and her husband Tyler, Christopher Richardson and his wife Amanda, Leanna Richardson, Jonathan Phillips, Josie Gorman and her husband Michael, Kerrie Richardson and her husband Milton Benitez. Freda was a beloved great-grandmother of Jaden, Jordan, Brooks, Eli, Natalia, Thor, Nora, Donny, Colton and Spencer.

She is survived by her brother Fred Ross Jr, Jeanette Neuhauser and her husband Thomas and was predeceased by her late sister Elaine Fetrow and her late husband Bob. Freda was also a sister-in-law to Grace Kahl and the late Virginia Parham.

Friends and loved ones are invited to a visitation at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., located at 11750 Belair Road in Kingsville on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11:00am. She will be interred at the Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
