Gary John Emrhein

Gary J. Emrhein (Butch), beloved husband of Sandra J. Benedetti Emrhein and the late Patricia Novak Emrhein, passed away on April 28, 2018 with family by his side in Kalamazoo Michigan after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.

He is survived by his daughter Christine Emrhein Beale (Richard), son Kevin Emrhein, and step daughter Stephanie Sparkman (Bryan). Grandfather to Ryan J. Beale, Zachary C. Beale, and step granddaughter Clara J. Sparkman. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Stanley Emrhein, Gertrude Martha Rappold and brother Charles Phillip Emrhein.

Gary, a Balto. native and graduate of Johns Hopkins Univ. in Mechanical Engineering, holds two patents. As a long time resident of Midlothian Virginia, Gary enjoyed fishing, classic car shows, and his '02 T-bird.

The family will receive friends at the E. F. Lassahn Funeral Home,P.A. 11750 Belair Road, Kingsville, MD on Thursday,May 10, 2018 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Internment follows at Highview Memorial Gardens, 3433 Fallston Road, Fallston, MD 21047.
