Jones, Harry Robert "Bob": On October 4, 2011 Harry Robert "Bob" Jones age 79, of Ocean City Maryland passed away at his stepsons home in Baltimore, Maryland. Born November 10, 1931 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Harry and Madeline (nee Martin) Jones. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Rose (nee Raynor) Jones. Bob is survived by his brother Richard Alvin "Dick" Jones, his stepsons Francis Lawrence Hepner, Jr. and James Michael Hepner, his daughter-in-law Amy Hepner and his grandson Francis Corey Hepner. Bob was a graduate of University of Baltimore, served in The Maryland National Guard 175th Inf. Division for 2 years and US Army Corp. of Engineers for 2 years. He was also co-founder of the Horns and Haloes Social Club, member of the Quarterback Club of Baltimore, Bel Air Lions Club, American Legion and the Elks Club of Ocean City. Bob retired in 1977 as a regional sales manager in the industrial field. Bob loved being with his dog Casey and enjoyed his place in Ocean City during the summer months and his place in Florida during the winter months. You could also find Bob enjoying his happy hour on Friday with his friends in both places and he always made friends where ever he went.

Visiting at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc. (Overlea) 7401 Belair Rd. Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 9:00 AM. Entombment Parkwood Cemetery. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
