On October 19, 2013 Hilda A. (nee Van Rossum), beloved wife of the S. Edward Hawkins Jr., devoted mother of Laura M. Strachan, Linda M. Stephens, Dr. Samuel E. Hawkins III, and Caroline A. Wohkittel, also survived by 14 grandchildren and sister Julia C. Maneth.
The family will receive friends at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road (Overlea) on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 and Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM . A funeral service will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church, 2625 E. Northern Parkway, 21214 on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment Parkwood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church Music and Worship Fund.
