Jacquelin "Jacque" Seaborn (Krause)

We warmly remember Jacquelin “Jacque” Seaborn (nee Krause), who peacefully passed on Thursday, January 25, 2024, and has left a profound imprint on our hearts. Jacquie's life was a beautiful tapestry of love, devotion, and creativity, woven through her 56 years of marriage to her husband, the late Donald J. Seaborn, Sr. Her role as a devoted mother was beautifully embodied in her nurturing of Donald J. Seaborn, Jr. and his wife Alison (nee Ernandez) Seaborn, David W. Seaborn and his wife Molly (nee Watson) Seaborn, and Rachel A. (nee Seaborn) Fox and her husband Jeff.

Jacque's love continued to blossom as a doting grandmother to Grace Ryan and her husband Josh, Jackson, Jess, Sadie, Marley, Camden, Adelyn, and Callie Seaborn, Brinley, Anisten, and Lincoln Fox. Her siblings, Robbin Krause and his wife Barbara, Timothy Krause and his wife Josette, held a special place in her heart.

She also cherished her relationships with her brother-in-law, the late Jerry W. Seaborn and his wife Robin, and her late sister-in-law Sandra Taylor and her husband Michael. Her life was further enriched by the love and affection of numerous nieces and nephews.

Jacque's life was a journey of adventure and service. Alongside her husband Donald, a dedicated Army serviceman, she traversed the globe, her experiences during the Korean, German, and Vietnam eras enriching her spirit and creativity. This worldly perspective was beautifully captured in a children’s coloring book, reflecting the places they visited. Her faith and community spirit shone brightly at St. John’s Lutheran Church, where she was not only a devoted member but also a guiding light on the board of St. John’s Church Preschool.

In celebration of St. John’s Lutheran Church's 175th Anniversary, Jacque diligently compiled the history of its pastors and legacy, showcasing her unwavering dedication. Her artistic talents were a gift to all; from vibrant banners to heartfelt quilts for her grandchildren, and being an integral part of a handmade card club, Jacque's creations touched many lives. Her commitment to faith was evident in her regular participation in Bible study.

Jacque's legacy as an art teacher at Baltimore Lutheran School is marked by the countless students she inspired, nurturing their talents and encouraging their dreams. Her home was a haven of warmth and joy, a testament to her loving spirit.
