Janice Marolf Francis

On June 15, 2025, Janice (Marolf) Francis passed away. Janice was the loving wife of James Francis (1944-2004) and a proud mother to her children, James Brayton, Jr. (1970-1991), David (Beth Pelton), and Karin (Jeff Wohlgemuth). She was a cherished grandmother whose warmth and encouraging spirit will be deeply missed by her six grandchildren. Janice is also survived by her siblings, Rus (Judith Renner), Marilyn (Charles Coles), and Arlene O. Marolf, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

A memorial service will be held at Peace Memorial Free Methodist Church, 4322 Buffalo Road, North Chili, NY 14514 on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a literacy program or a charity of your choice, reflecting Janice’s lifelong passion for education and her desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
