Jeffrey R. Davis

Jeffrey R. Davis, 69, went home to be with the lord on May 22, 2025, after a year-long battle with small-cell lung cancer. In the days leading up to his death, he was surrounded by family, friends, and all the love they had for him.

Jeffrey was born on March 19, 1956, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Henry and Mary Davis and was the oldest of four sons. He graduated from Overlea High School in 1974, took a few courses at Junior College, and served his country in the US Navy and the US Navy Reserve. He then went on to own his own trucking business, Evans Delivery Company Incorporated, where he won multiple accolades and earned the reputation of being a fair and dependable boss.

He married Deborah M. Davis (nee Miskimon) on October 6, 1979, and they raised two beloved daughters together, Jennifer Bosarge and Julia Hatami (nee Davis). He was also a grandfather to his girls, Hannah Bosarge, Zoe Davis, Grace Hatami, and Mary Hatami; and a great-grandfather to his only boy, Mason Macciola. He was a devoted family man, animal dad, and a father figure to many.

Before he got sick, he enjoyed going to coin shows and connecting with fellow collectors. He was a history buff, a sports enthusiast, and he loved to watch westerns and his favorite teams play. He also loved going up to his West Virginia property to watch the deer and spend time on his gun range, and when able to, he enjoyed going on family vacations to the Outer Banks. And of course, he was a faithful servant of the lord.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah M. Davis; daughters Jennifer Bosarge and Julia Hatami; grandchildren Hannah Bosarge, Zoe Davis, Grace Hatami, and Mary Hatami; great-grandchild Mason Macciola; brothers Randy Davis and Joe Gobrecht; and his two puppy dogs, Dreama and Keke.

He is predeceased by his dear brother, Scott Davis, and his beloved orange cat, Leo.

Visiting at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road (Overlea) on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May, 30, 2025, at 12 noon. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
