John Jeremiah Baker, Jr.

September 3, 1928 - October 19, 2023

On October 19, 2023 John Jeremiah Baker, Jr passed away peacefully while kneeling in prayer beside his bed. He was the beloved husband of the late Jeanette E. (nee Trivett) Baker; the devoted father of Rev. J. Kenneth Baker and his wife Janet, Jeanine Briggs and her husband David; and much-loved grandfather of Stephanie, Christa, Valerie, Jackie, Julie, and Rebecca. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren. John was predeceased by his sister, Marian Klarman.

John served in the Army during the Korean War and made his living as an accountant. He was very active in his church. He was a generous man who enjoyed making people smile.

Visiting will be held at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home,P.A., 11750 Belair Road in Kingsville on Friday , October 27, 2023 from 10:00am until 11:00am at which time funeral services will begin at 11:00am. Interment will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
