John Robert "Bob" Green

John “Bob” Green passed away on April 30, 2026.

Bob was the husband of the late Marina “Rene” Green (née Smith). He is survived by his children, Eric Green and his wife Jessica, and Bryan Green and his wife Mariana; his grandchildren, Mila and Emma Green; his siblings, Sandy Ourisson and her husband Phil, and Ken Green and his wife Tina; and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Green and Oriole Green (née Moore).

Bob worked as a civil engineer. He enjoyed watching Ravens games with his sons, following the Orioles, and watching tennis. He played racquetball with his brother and stayed active through swimming, walking, and working out.

He enjoyed traveling, watching movies, and attending performances at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore, where he held season tickets. He also enjoyed going to Pappas Restaurant for crab cakes and spent time crabbing in Ocean City with his sons. He especially valued time spent with his grandchildren. Bob was known for his kind and gentle nature, and children were naturally drawn to him.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Bob’s life at Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road, where a visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7th from 1–3 p.m. and 6–8 p.m. A funeral mass will take place on Friday, May 8th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 8801 Harford Rd. Interment will immediately follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
