John H. Mace Sr.

On October 22, 2023 John H. Mace, Sr. peacefully passed away. John was the cherished son of the departed Howell Mace and Alice (nee Anderson) Mace. He leaves behind a proud legacy as the father of Linda Mayfield, John Mace, Jr., Merle Mace, Jerry Mace and his wife Kim, and Darlene Mace. His memory will be lovingly cherished by his grandchildren: Michael Mayfield,Jr., Curtis Mace and his wife Heather, Crystal Mace, M.C. Mace, Amanda Mace, Jacob Mace and his wife Alyssa, and John Mace, III. His great-grandchildren Bryce Mace, Curtis Mace, Jr., Karli Mace, Jayden Mace, and Madeline Mace, will hear tales of his kindness and wisdom. John also leaves behind his sisters Betty Bartgis and Nancy Gostomski, and fond memories of his departed siblings: Maxwell Mace, Earl Mace, Dorothy Laudenklos, Patricia Abend, Tillie Albrecht, Howell Mace, Jr. and Robert Mace. He was a beloved uncle to a host of nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to the E. F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A. 11750 Belair Road in Kingsville on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 10:00am until 11:00am, at which time funeral services will begin at 11:00am. John will be laid to rest in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
