Judith Marie Shipley (Frazer)

Judith Marie Shipley, nee Frazer, 69, left this earth peacefully on February 19, 2022, after a decades-long fight with encephalitis. Born to Daisy May and Robert Alfred Frazer on November 15, 1952, in Hawaii, she was forever a fighter, intelligent and gentle through and through.

Judith graduated from Montgomery College and was a technical support analyst for Union Trust Bank before advancing her career to the distinguished position of vice president at Alex. Brown and Sons. She fell ill in 1994, but through her illness she always maintained dignity and intelligence despite the toll the disease took on her body. She stayed strong and resilient through the most difficult days, enjoying crafts, crochet and most of all, pink flamingos. She will be truly missed.

She is survived by her only child, Steven, and siblings Deborah, David and James.

Friends may call on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 1pm to 4pm, followed by a memorial service, at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A. 11750 Belair Road., Kingsville, MD 21087. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Promedica Hospice of Baltimore.
