Laura Meredith Yurek

On May 8, 2021 Laura Meredith Yurek passed away. Loving mother of Lily Fox; devoted daughter of Susan (nee Shephard) Yurek and the late Dennis Yurek; dear sister of Holly (nee Yurek) Pass and her husband Will; cherished aunt of Alexander and Gabriella Pass; Laura is also survived by her Aunt Janet Cantwell and Uncle Rick, Aunt Karen Southwick and Uncle Vernon and Uncle Kenneth Shephard and Aunt Cindy; her cousins, Carrie Williams, Adam Southwick, Allison Southwick, Dan Shephard, Clara Dibley, Molly Shephard, Ellen Shephard, Jill Shephard and a host of loving family and friends. Laura was a loving mother, a dedicated paramedic, she enjoyed fishing and relaxing on the water. She will be missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A. 11750 Belair Road in Kingsville on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm, at which time a memorial service will begin. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, the family is establishing a paramedic scholarship in Laura’s name. Donations can be sent to the Venmo account @Susan-Yurek.
