Louise Doris Tanner (Laudenklos)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Louise Doris (nee Laudenklos) Tanner on October 3, 2024. Louise was the beloved wife of Ronald Bernard Tanner, sharing 56 years of love and devotion. Together, they built a beautiful family, and Louise was a proud and nurturing mother to Matthew Brian Tanner (wife Jennifer), Jason Bernard Tanner (wife Nikki), Erin Louis Tanner, Lauren Cynthia Tanner, and the late Ronald "Todd" Tanner. Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Marissa Tanner, Landon Vitale, Kylee Tanner, Chase Miller, Samantha Tanner, and the late Cameron Phillips.

Louise was also the dear sister of Mary Floyd (husband Ron), Sharon Zang (husband Robert), and Janet Sonn (husband Ken). Her family extended beyond immediate relatives to include her brother- and sister-in-laws, along with many loving nieces and nephews. She embraced each of them with kindness and an open heart.

Louise was a constant source of love and support to her family. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to being a nurturing wife, mother, and grandmother, always providing a warm and welcoming home. Her compassion extended beyond her family, as she became affectionately known as the “mother of the neighborhood,” offering care and comfort to all who knew her.

Louise also enjoyed moments of leisure and was fortunate to experience joy and relaxation through cherished vacations, including a memorable cruise.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., located at 11750 Belair Road in Kingsville, on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church in Fullerton on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow at St. Joseph Church Cemetery.

The family is deeply grateful for the prayers, love, and support extended during this time of loss.
