Luther (Mr. Bill) Williams, Jr.

April 20, 1925 - January 2, 2022

Was from the Greatest Generation and served in the Navy during WW2 on the Destroyer Escorts USS McConnell (DE-163) and the USS John L. Williamson (DE-370) in various South Pacific engagements. After the war he became a merchant marine then finally a steelworker at Eastern Stainless Steel from which he retired in 1983. He is survived by his 3 children, his oldest son Gregg and his wife Jackie, His son David and his daughter Kimberly. At his request, this will be a military style funeral with immediate family only.
