Martin Lee Bright

Martin Bright, 68, of Baldwin, MD passed away peacefully at his home on July 4, 2017. Martin was born in Baltimore, MD on August 16, 1948 to Horace and Emma Bright. Martin served in the US Navy aboard the USS Sierra in 1968. He worked at Koppers/United for 30 years where he also served as Union President. Martin also worked for Harford County Public Schools for 15 years as a Building Engineer and part time at Jackson Hewitt Tax Services. Martin and his wife Peggy are also active members of Fork United Methodist Church. Throughout his life, Martin enjoyed being together with friends & family, hunting, fishing, crabbing, and watching the O's (when they won!)

Martin is survived by his loving wife Peggy and their children, Tina & Mark Mayne, Tara Wolff, John & Angela Jaimes, and his grandchildren Alexandrea, Mark, Colin, Carissa, Quintin, and Brooklyn. Martin is the beloved brother of Rick & Ann Bright and Kenneth Bright; devoted uncle of Chris & Karin Bright, Rick & Candice Bright, and Heather & Paul Sossaman; great uncle to Nicholas, Holly, Luci, Ethan, and Dylan.

Visitation hours will be held at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, PA. 11750 Belair Road in Kingsville on Friday, July 7 from 2pm-5pm and 7pm -9pm. Funeral services will be held at Fork United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 8 at 1pm. Interment Fork United Methodist Church Cemetery.
