Melvin R. Hipley

On April 29, 2017, Melvin R. Hipley beloved husband of Shirley Hipley (nee Funk), passed into the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Loving father of Wayne Hipley and wife Julie, Jeffrey Hipley and wife Carrie, Philip Hipley and friend David Henry, Lisa Katona and her husband Michael. Grandfather of Martha, Grady, Kaylee, Zachery, Jessica, Mitchell, Noah and Bella. Melvin is survived by his sister Mae Fridley, and pre-deceased by 7 brothers and 1 sister.

Visitation will be held at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., 11750 Belair Road in Kingsville, on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm., and Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Bel Forest Baptist Church, 603 Vale Road,in Bel Air, from 10am until 11 am, at which time funeral service will begin. A luncheon will be held immediately at the church following interment at Highview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered in Melvin’s name to Bel Forest Baptist Church.
